No account. Your journal stays local.
The app has no advertising or tracking features and does not send us your sleep records. Support emails you choose to send and visits to these webpages are explained separately below.
About this policy
Sleepuzzle: Sleep Diary (晚安拼图) is provided by RongLai Wei. This policy explains how the iOS app handles information, what happens when you contact support, and how these support and privacy webpages are hosted.
Information on your device
The app stores the following information locally to provide its features:
- The bedtime and wake-up times you enter or confirm, and your sleep goals.
- Puzzle progress, unlocked and completed pictures, and the dates on which you have claimed a daily puzzle.
- Your selected theme, language, time format, sound settings, and other app preferences.
- Information needed to manage your local reminders and any wake-up check-ins retained from earlier versions.
The app does not send these records to us. It has no user accounts, developer-operated backend, advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking features. Artwork, fonts, and audio are included with the app.
Daily puzzle dates
Daily unlocks use the current local date and time on your device, including its time zone and daylight saving time settings. The app does not contact an online time service.
Recording sleep times, unlocking pictures, and playing puzzles work offline. Previously claimed dates are stored locally to keep one new puzzle per date across all themes.
Optional permissions
The app may ask for notification permission to send local reminders at your chosen bedtime and wake-up time. It does not request alarm permission. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings. Journaling, puzzles, and in-app prompts for missing records work without notification access.
The iOS app does not request Screen Time access and does not read other apps’ activity, HealthKit data, contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photo library. It does not automatically measure your sleep.
Storage, backups & deletion
Your records stay in the app’s storage until you change them or delete the app and its data. Offloading the app may preserve its data and is different from deleting it. There is no in-app cloud sync or export service.
iOS may include app data in device backups according to your settings. Apple manages those backups. Deleting the app does not itself delete previously created backups; you can manage them through Apple’s device and account settings.
Because we do not receive your sleep records or puzzle progress, we cannot access, retrieve, or delete that local data for you.
When you contact support
If you email sleepuzzle@outlook.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that correspondence to respond to your request and resolve the issue. Email is handled by the email services used by you and us.
Please avoid sending sleep records or other personal information unless necessary to explain the issue. You can request deletion of your support correspondence by contacting the same address.
Visiting these webpages
These pages do not include advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or third-party fonts. They do not ask you to register or upload app data.
When you visit these pages on GitHub Pages, GitHub records visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes. That website hosting is separate from the app’s local sleep records and puzzle progress. See the GitHub Privacy Statement for details about the hosting provider’s practices.
Changes & contact
We will update this policy when the app’s data practices change and revise the effective date above.
